James Moss, a young single father, believed he had lost everything. This also meant that he had nothing to lose. Fortunately, an angel showed him otherwise. Fortunately, his kid stood by him, motivating him to be the greatest version of himself and to never give up hope. James understood how difficult life might be since he grew up in an atmosphere where many things that people take for granted are not available. That is exactly what led him during his son’s upbringing. He wished for better for his son.
“I want him to experience the things I missed out on growing up,” Moss said in a popular video. Moss and his kid used to reside in New York, but when he received a job offer in Denver, he saw it as an excellent chance to relocate to the Mile High City. It wouldn’t be complete without its problems.
He arranged for a buddy to stay at his apartment for the first few weeks as a transition phase, hoping for the best. Then the tables were turned. He found himself homeless and carless while attempting to provide for himself and his cherished son. He encountered Leon Logothetis, a prominent motivational speaker with #GoBeKind, while traveling around the streets of Denver one day.
He initially mistook it for a casual conversation about compassion with a stranger on the street, but it turned out to be a life-changing experience.
“You have to be brought down to your most humble point in order to appreciate other things that are waiting for you,” Moss said to Logothetis at the time. Logothetis then asked him what gave him the strength to keep going, to which James replied that it was a mix of factors. It started with his son. He strived to be the best parent he could for his kid. Simultaneously, he attempted to gain courage via meditation and prayer.
It was now Logothetis’ turn to speak. Yes, they had never met before, but the man was coming to offer him some of the most valuable things he had ever received. This was for day-to-day expenditures. Moss and his almost 2-year-old son may also stay at a motel for the following seven days, hoping to find a better place in the days that follow. Moss couldn’t be happier.
Moss and his kid were residing at a shelter, and the guy was working as a barber, when they met a new buddy. The woman set up a GoFundMe campaign in their honor. They received more than $50,000 in contributions.
This money might be used to purchase a safe automobile, pay for childcare, or cover living costs. The man, in a new video, expressed his gratitude to the people who were touched by his story and were generous enough to help him during that hard time.
