Charlie Kirk’s disturbing tweet has resurfaced after the political influencer was shot dead at a Utah debate event.
Kirk was killed at Utah Valley University on Wednesday (September 10) while conducting a discussion for his Turning Point USA brand.
The activist was only 20 minutes into his lecture when bullets were fired. According to reports, the audience numbered 3,000 persons.
Kirk could be seen recoiling in his chair before the crowd began to flee in horrifying footage from the tragedy. Many eyewitnesses remembered the occurrence as well.
Emma Pitts, a Deseret News reporter who attended the discussion in Utah, told the BBC, “We all dropped to the ground, and I want to say we sat like that for about 30 to 45 seconds, and then everyone around us got up and started running.”

Amid the horrible event, Kirk’s tweet from 2014 has emerged, reading, “Did I just get shot by an AR-15?” It feels like it.”
According to statistics, 25 million citizens own the AR-15 semi-automatic weapon, making it one of the most popular in the United States.
The firearm has been condemned as the preferred weapon of mass shooters in the United States.
Authorities have yet to confirm the weapon used in the attack on Kirk.
Donald Trump, Kirk’s buddy, confirmed the far-right commentator’s death.
On Truth Social, the president stated, “The great, and even legendary, Charlie Kirk, has died. Charlie knew and embodied the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America like no other.
“He was liked and revered by everyone, including myself, and he is no longer with us. Melania and I extend our condolences to his lovely wife, Erika, and their family. “We love you, Charlie!”
In response to the news, the Republican president ordered that flags be flown at half-mast across the United States.

“In honor of Charlie Kirk, a truly great American patriot, I am ordering all American flags throughout the United States lowered to half-mast until Sunday evening at 6 P.M.,” he said in a Twitter post.
Kamala Harris, Trump’s erstwhile presidential opponent, was among those who paid their condolences.
She said, X: “I’m profoundly horrified about the shooting in Utah. Doug and I pray for Charlie Kirk and his family.
“Let me make it clear: Political violence has no place in America. I condemn this atrocity, and we must all work together to prevent more bloodshed.
