Charlie Kirk’s wife spoke to their three-year-old daughter about his death. Everyone thinks it’s heartbreaking…

Charlie Kirk’s wife has shared how she addressed his death with their small daughter.

On Wednesday (September 10), the right-wing activist and conservative pundit was shot and died while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University.

It was thought that the gunman acted alone, shooting Kirk with a single bullet from a bolt-action rifle while positioned on a neighboring school rooftop.

Two days later, the FBI revealed that investigators had apprehended their primary suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson of Utah.

His 31-year-old wife, Erika Kirk, and their two young children, a son who turned one in May and a girl who turned three in August, survive him.

Following the arrest, the evangelical Christian broke her silence on the tragedy that has struck her family, appearing behind a podium on a live feed from her husband’s podcast studio on Friday (September 12).

The 36-year-old mother recalled the agonizing moment she had to break the news to her kid.

“When I got home last night, Gigi, our daughter, ran into my arms, and I talked to her, and she said, ‘Mommy, I miss you,’ and I said, ‘I miss you too, baby,’ and she goes, ‘Where’s Daddy?'”

“How would you tell a three-year-old?” She is three.”

It went on: “And I said, ‘Daddy loves you so much, baby; he’s on a work trip with Jesus so he can afford your blueberry budget.'”

The former Miss Arizona USA winner also used the opportunity to thank first responders, Kirk’s staff, and the White House for their response to the killing, particularly President Donald Trump, whom she claimed her husband ‘loved’ and ‘understood that you [Trump] loved him too.’

Although she did not precisely mention the suspected gunman in her remarks, she did refer to the ‘evil-doers accountable’ for the tragedy.

“You have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife; the cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry,” she went on.

“They should all know this: if you thought that my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea; you have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country and this world.”

Kirk died from a single gunshot wound to the neck while attending a college event for the first stop of his ‘American Comeback Tour’ as a member of Turning Point USA, a conservative youth activist group and nonprofit.

Erika, who married the media star in 2021, has pledged to carry on her husband’s legacy through his university tour, radio program, and podcast.

She also stated that Kirk loved America, nature, the Chicago Cubs baseball team, and, most importantly, his family.

“Most importantly, Charlie loved his children and me with all of his heart, and I knew it every day.” He made sure to remind me of that every day.

Erika continued. “Every day, he would ask me, ‘How can I serve you better?’ How can I become a better husband?” How can I become a better father?”

“I know my husband is still around. “He’s watching over us,” she remarked, before complimenting him as a ‘good and devoted servant.’
