In recent developments in the divorce of Kevin Costner, 68, and Christine Baumgartner, 49, the judge assigned to their case has determined that Kevin’s monthly child support payments will not be increased. After two days of testimony, the judge, Thomas Anderle, rendered his decision.
The revised and final monthly child support payment is now $63,209 as a result of the verdict in favor of the “Yellowstone” singer. Baumgartner had already requested a total of $161,592, with an extra $31,837 requested.

An interim sum of $129,755 had already been established in response to the 49-year-old’s earlier request. Kevin said of the judge’s decision in his favor in the custody battle and the future co-parenting plan:
“You know, when you’ve been with someone for that long, there’s no winner… She’s a fantastic mother. We’ll work it out and let you know.”

Although the problem of child support has been resolved, the former couple will still have to appear in court to determine who will be liable for paying their legal expenses as well as other accumulated bills. According to Baumgartner’s friend, who also expressed disappointment and disbelief, the conflict between her and Kevin is far from over.

Baumgartner previously contended in court that the home she is now renting, which costs $40,000 per month, is unsuitable for her family. She also voiced dissatisfaction with her home’s guest accommodations and stated that her two sons, Hayes and Cayden Costner, would have to share one bathroom. Grace Costner, her daughter, was also quoted as saying:
“has to share a bathroom with the rest of the house.”

When she was being cross-examined, she was asked if she planned to get a job to support her lifestyle. The mother of three said that she had just recently begun to consider the notion, but added:
“I will look into the steps I need to take, as well as any schooling I need to do, and then I will enter the workforce.”

According to a person close to Baumgartner, Kevin believes Baumgartner does not want to work and would like a free ride. In addition, the buddy stated:
He seems to have forgotten that she already has a full-time job, and it’s called being a mother to their three children.”

Baumgartner’s four-bedroom home boasts custom-made furniture, a jacuzzi, and a large swimming pool, yet she considers it insufficient. Furthermore, despite her friend’s remark that being an actress pales in contrast to being a full-time mom of three, the “Waterworld” actor does not refuse to care for his children.
Despite admitting to having a lot on his plate with regard to legal processes and such, Kevin indicated a desire to spend more time with his children. He was recently seen out for breakfast in Santa Barbara with his 14-year-old son, Hayes.

Concerning how Kevin, who conceded that the divorce procedures had upset his world, intends to move forward, he stated that he has various duties to attend to.
