Amy Schumer, a comedian, said, “This was the hardest week of my life.”
Amy Schumer provides a concerning update regarding her 3-year-old kid, which is, unfortunately, really awful news.
Gere, Amy Schumer’s 3-year-old son, was admitted to the ER this week, the comedian disclosed. RSV, often known as respiratory syncytial virus, was identified in the infant.
Several hours after hosting “Saturday Night Live,” the 41-year-old actress and comedian posted an update on her son’s condition on Instagram.
She opened the caption by saying, “This was the toughest week of my life. “My son was rushed to the ER and hospitalized with RSV on Thursday, so I missed the rehearsals. Salutations to all the parents who are currently experiencing this.
She said, “I got to spend the entire day with him at the hospital, and the lovely people at @nbcsnl couldn’t have been more supportive.
She then thanked the medical professionals who treated her son, including the nurses and physicians.
“A shout-out to all the parents who are now going through this,” wrote Schumer as her final sentence in the blog post.
RSV appears to be sweeping the nation this viral season, particularly hurting children.
Although the condition often manifests as mild, cold-like symptoms, more severe symptoms can also occur.
Schumer said that Gene is currently recuperating and doing great at home.
