Conjoined twin Abby Hensel is now married

Abby Hensel, known for her appearances with conjoined twin Brittany, is now married.

The twins gained fame after appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1996 at the age of six. Their lives were later documented in the TLC reality show Abby & Brittany as they navigated college and adulthood.

Abby recently wed nurse and US Army veteran Josh Bowling. Though their wedding occurred in 2021, news of it has only recently surfaced.

The couple, along with Brittany, can be seen in a wedding photo shared on the Hensels’ Facebook page. Abby and Brittany wear a white dress, while Bowling sports a white suit.

Living in Minnesota, where they grew up, Abby, Brittany, and Josh work as fifth-grade teachers. Josh describes himself as a Christian, Father, Husband, Veteran, and occasional gamer.

As dicephalus conjoined twins, Abby controls their right arm and leg, while Brittany controls the left. Their parents, Patty and Mike, opted against separation surgery at birth due to the risks involved.

In a documentary titled Joined For Life, Patty mentioned her daughters’ desire to become mothers one day. Abby and Brittany confirmed this aspiration, expressing their optimism about the future.
