A customer shared a sweet occurrence at a Burger King drive-thru on Facebook, sparking significant interest. Rebecca Boening, a Texas resident, described an odd interaction with a Burger King employee that astounded her.
Rebecca Boening’s blood sugar dropped suddenly while driving on I-40. Fortunately, she noticed a Burger King restaurant at the approaching exit. Her low blood sugar made it difficult for her to place an order at the drive-thru. Despite the difficulties, she was able to communicate her diabetes and her urgent need for food to the speaker.
As Boening approached the payment window, she was surprised to see Burger King employee Tina Hardy hurry towards her car. Hardy moved between the building and the front of Boening’s car to offer a tiny dish of ice cream, understanding the symptoms of low blood sugar caused by her own husband’s diabetes. This unexpected display of charity profoundly moved Boeing.

After making the payment, Boening went to Tina’s window to get her meal. Worried for Boening’s well-being, Hardy instructed her to park across the driveway and pledged to monitor her until she recovered.
When Boening completed her meal and there was a pause in customer flow, she went to Tina’s window to show her thanks. Boening snapped a picture as a memory and spoke with Tina’s supervisor, complimenting her excellent help.
