Scot Pankey, a secondary school teacher in Dallas, clearly has a knack for connecting with his students. Mr. Pankey discovered in 2015 that his students devoted a significant amount of time to viewing YouTube videos.
This creative instructor came up with a project that the entire class would participate in a dance routine set to the music of Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk,” which also features Bruno Mars on vocals.

When music starts playing, he becomes enthusiastic enough to start dancing, as described here by the BBC. The brief footage begins with him sitting at his desk and appearing as though he would rather be somewhere else.
Bruno Mars stated online: I sobbed at the end. Thank you to everyone who was involved in producing this film. To date, the video has been viewed by over 14 million people, including Mr. Pankey.

The following year, Mr. Pankey and his students created an even slicker video using the Andy Grammer song “Good Day to Be Alive” that drew in even more viewers.
Send this film to your loved ones so they can be reminded of the instructors who made attending school a positive and enjoyable experience.
