Donald Trump has commented on whether his son, Donald Trump Jr., might consider running for president.
During Trump’s presidential campaign last year, his eldest child, Donald Trump Jr., who is often referred to as ‘Don’ for short, vocally supported his father’s reelection and allegedly advocated for JD Vance to become vice president.
Trump Jr. also runs a biweekly podcast, Triggered with Don Jr., in which he discusses different political subjects.

But could the 45th and 47th US president’s son, whom he has with his late ex-wife Ivana, have a chance of becoming president himself?
During an interview with New York Post journalist Miranda Devine for the Pod Force One podcast, Trump was asked if Trump Jr. might run for president himself.
“I do not know. I honestly don’t know. To be honest, I believe they all have a political future. And Don is pretty excellent and is truly exceptional. “He’s an outdoorsman,” he explained.
Trump’s reluctance to offer a definitive ‘yes’ might be attributed to Trump Jr. expressly noting on his own X account that ‘although I’ll never completely rule it out in the future, I have ZERO interest in running for government in [20]28 or anytime near.’

During the interview, which was revealed on Wednesday (June 11), President Trump stated that all of his children may have a career in politics and boasted that they ‘were born exceptionally brilliant.’
He continued, “Eric did an excellent job. Barron is excellent. He is both tall and good. Ivanka, do you know her? She’s wonderful. Tiffany has done really well. She attended a top legal school and did really well. Always a good student.”
Barron Trump, 19, has earned a lot of attention recently after enrolling at New York University’s famed Stern School of Business. But also because of his height of 6 feet 7 inches.
In March, when asked about his youngest son, whom he shares with First Lady Melania Trump, the president told Fox News, “If you look at my kids, all of my kids, they’ve been very good, very smart.”

“They love our country, and they’re proud of their father.”
When asked which of Barron’s skills stood out—politics or business—Trump claimed his technological abilities were ‘unbelievable.’
Trump provided an example: “I switch off his laptop, say, ‘Oh, nice,’ and return five minutes later, and he has his laptop. I said, ‘How’d you do that?’
“‘None of your business, Dad.'”
