Elderly woman walks 12 miles home from work to hear this shocking news from her coworkers…

A 60-year-old FedEx employee’s summons to her coworker Josh Lewis’ office set the stage for a beautiful story.

Lewis had been discreetly accumulating cash through a GoFundMe effort to assist her in purchasing a new automobile.

The discovery of this compassionate deed moved the 60-year-old woman to tears.

Darlene Quinn, a 60-year-old FedEx employee, has been walking a 12-mile commute home for the past three months.
Regardless of the distance, she never complained.

However, her commitment was not unappreciated.

Lewis and his employer had been observing her closely and decided to provide assistance.

Initially, Lewis and his employer volunteered to drive Quinn home.

After some convincing, she accepted their offer.

This allowed them to better grasp her condition.

Quinn’s automobile had broken down three months before, and she couldn’t afford to repair it.
Instead, she elected to walk home from work while a buddy drove her there every morning.

Quinn’s fortitude moved Lewis, inspiring him to help her even more.

He created a GoFundMe account in her honor and, owing to the compassion of one hundred people, was able to earn enough money to buy her a new automobile.

The next day, he took Quinn into his office and shocked her with the news, which filled her with excitement.

Lewis told Quinn in a Facebook video, “There are many people in this community who love and care about you.”

He continued: “You have inspired so many of us to do great things, like going to work and supporting ourselves, and doing what we have to do.”
According to Lewis, Quinn, who works the 4 a.m. shift, had become a familiar figure among residents who watched her heading home from work every day.

Quinn elected not to share her experience firsthand but instead asked Lewis to narrate it for her.

She thanked the hundred contributors who enabled her to acquire a new automobile.
In addition, two local firms, who wished to remain anonymous, provided her with free oil changes and tire repairs as needed, making it easier for her to maintain her new vehicle.

Lewis confessed in an open Facebook post that he wouldn’t have been able to help Quinn if he hadn’t gotten aid from his buddies a few months ago.

He explained that he was in a difficult situation, needing items for his apartment and a vehicle.
His buddies, whom he hadn’t seen in 11 years, rescued him, and this act of goodwill prompted him to repay the favor.

Such acts of goodwill demonstrate that there are still individuals who sincerely care about others.

They renew our confidence in mankind and encourage us to help those in need.
