Get your Kleenex ready, because a video of a guy abandoned as a newborn seeing his biological family for the first time has gone viral.
Jon Scarlett-Phillips, 40, was discovered in the toilet of a car park at a leisure facility near Milton Keynes, UK, in September 1984.
Jon’s biological mother had abandoned him, wrapping him in a blanket and placing him in a shopping bag with his placenta still attached.
Three adolescent females discovered Jon and were able to contact an ambulance and provide the infant with all of the medical care he needed.
Jon shared his incredible experience on ITV’s Long Lost Family: Born Without a Trace in the hopes of discovering his birth mother.
He told the TV, “I was discovered by three girls. Discovering something like that at such a young age is incredibly overwhelming. I’m quite glad that they heard and found me.” They are the ones who saved my life.”
Thankfully, Jon had a wonderful life after being adopted by John and Marilyn, and he also grew up with his older sister Debbie.
Nonetheless, a large emptiness continued to affect Jon’s life.

“I didn’t want to search for a very long time,” said the chef, who is currently based in Wiltshire. “The question is still there: Why did she do it?”
Jon ‘fell off the rails’ after a horrible accident that left his adopted mother with brain damage, and he pledged never to use drugs again after a near-overdose at the age of 18.
Jon credits his wife, Becky, with saving him, and the chef’s husband encouraged Jon to seek answers about his history.
After a lengthy investigation, the Long Lost Family team determined Jon’s biological mother was still alive and 20 years old when she gave birth to him.
They also realized she had two young girls when she became pregnant with Jon.
“I believe she became pregnant with Jon unexpectedly, and she struggled to deal. When she left him, she was in a bad mental state,” Long Lost Family’s Ariel Bruce explained.
Jon’s biological mother was not yet ready to see him when the tape was made, but his two half-sisters wanted to meet him as soon as possible.
An incredibly moving video depicts Jon seeing his siblings for the first time, with their identities concealed to preserve their mother’s privacy.
The tear-jerking moment saw the siblings quickly connect as they made up for missed time.
While Jon’s biological mother was not present, the sisters had a message from her that they showed to him.
It read, “Hello, I sent this message to the girls so they may explain why I am not with them today.
“Unfortunately, I feel unable, both physically and mentally, to come today following a long period of illness.”
“It’s not a no, Jon; it’s simply time,” one of the sisters remarked as it was read out, while Jon told the show, “I feel a lot lighter. I feel a little fuller as well. That emptiness has vanished totally. “I am a happy man.”
