Erika Kirk’s painful gesture to her husband, Charlie, during his memorial service holds significant meaning

The widow of Charlie Kirk made an emotional gesture during her late husband’s funeral ceremony yesterday (September 21).

Earlier this month, the late political activist and Turning Point USA icon was gunned down while lecturing on the Utah Valley University campus.

The 31-year-old leaves behind his wife, Erika Kirk, and two small children.

His burial took place over the weekend at the Arizona Cardinals’ stadium in front of tens of thousands of supporters and MAGA luminaries, with honors from President Donald Trump, his underling JD Vance, and the bereaved Mrs. Kirk.

One moment in particular stuck out during the mother’s speech: she positioned her left fingers in a specific way and pointed them to the sky—but what did it all mean?

According to Lingvano, Kirk made an ‘I love you’ gesture.

To do so in American Sign Language, create an ‘L’ with your thumb and index finger while keeping them extended, and then elevate your little finger.

The middle and ring fingers should continue to contact your palm and, ultimately, point the hand toward the person you’re addressing.

Kirk was sending a message to her loving husband in heaven by raising her hand.

In her homage, the 36-year-old also stated that the dead “left this world without regret.” He gave his all every day. But I want you to know something: Charlie died with incomplete work, not unfinished business.

She then said that she had forgiven her husband’s assassin, who is thought to be Tyler Robinson.

“I forgive him because this is what Christ did. Father, pardon them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

She then stated that Mr. Kirk ‘wanted to rescue young men, exactly like the one who took his life,’ before announcing that she will take over as CEO and chairperson of Turning Point USA.

The world ‘needs a group that will steer young people away from the road of sorrow and immorality,’ continued the widow, “and so, I promise you today, every part of our work will become greater.”

Trump will shortly bestow the Presidential Medal of Freedom on the late right-wing broadcaster.

In other matters, Mr. Kirk’s surgeon reportedly informed TPUSA member Andrew Kolvet that the victim ‘miraculously’ spared other people’s lives on the day he died for one reason.
