Sometimes in life, we meet someone and know straight away that they are the person we want to spend the rest of our time with. Not everyone is fortunate enough to discover their soul mate on this trip called life, but if you do, make sure you grab on tight and never leave their side.

An 80-year-old man visited his wife in a nursing home and gave her flowers and breakfast. Someone who saw him doing this every morning asked him about his wife and why she was staying at the facility. “She had Alzheimer’s disease,” the man said.

The inquisitive visitor inquired of the old guy, “Would your wife be concerned if you did not come and bring her breakfast one morning?” “She doesn’t recall,” the man said. She hasn’t recognized me in five years and doesn’t even know who I am.

More baffled, the individual said, “So why do you bring your wife breakfast every morning, even though she doesn’t recognize you?” The loving husband smiled and said, “She doesn’t know who I am, but I know who she is.”

This has truly affected our hearts.
