Everyone was talking about her in the 1980s…today she is hardly recognizable…

Recently, the iconic Dallas legend Linda Gray was seen in Valencia, California, attending to errands near her residence. This marked her first public appearance in such a setting in three years.

Best known for her portrayal of Sue Ellen Ewing in the vintage TV series Dallas, Linda Gray was spotted at Costco purchasing fruit and a cozy blanket. Dressed casually in black sweatpants and a tan hoodie, she navigated the store, pushing a cart and loading her purchases into her car. Additionally, she retrieved mail from a post office box.

Linda Gray boasts a lengthy and illustrious career in the entertainment industry. Following her iconic stint on Dallas from 1978 to 1991, she ventured into successful movie roles and reprised her character in two Dallas reunions. She also showcased her talent on stage, notably portraying Mrs. Robinson in a 2001 production of The Graduate.

In addition to her Dallas legacy, Linda Gray has collaborated with Sylvester Stallone in Models Inc. from 1994 to 1995 and appeared in Oscar in 1991. She made return appearances in Dallas spinoffs in 1996 and 1998, and from 2012 to 2014, she graced the Dallas remake.

Despite her professional achievements, Linda Gray faced a profound loss last year with the passing of her 56-year-old son Jeff Thrasher. Jeff, who battled leukemia, was the son of Linda’s ex-husband, Ed Thrasher, to whom she was married from 1962 to 1983. Linda also has a daughter, actress Kelly Sloane, who is married to Lance Sloane and has two children.

Jeff Thrasher had a successful career as a TV director and producer, contributing to shows like Junior Chef Showdown, Canada’s Smartest Person, and The Amazing Race Canada, among others. He also directed shows such as Vegas Rat Rods and Furze World Wonders.

Following her son’s passing, Linda Gray received overwhelming support from her fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry, underscoring the impact she has had throughout her remarkable career.
