Celine Dion, born in Charlemagne, Canada in 1968, is internationally renowned as one of Canada’s most famous singers. The Bee Gees, a band formed in 1958 by brothers Maurice, Robin, and Barry Gibb, gained acclaim for their exceptional songwriting and composing skills. Their contributions extended to writing and producing music for various artists, including Dion.
Specifically for Celine Dion, the Bee Gees composed the song “Immortality,” which achieved significant success upon its release as a single in 1998, reaching the top ten in Europe and peaking at fifth position on the UK charts. Despite facing challenges during its creation, Barry and Maurice Gibb took a brief hiatus before returning to the studio and completing the song in just a few minutes.

“Immortality” was recorded for Dion’s 1997 album “Let’s Talk About Love,” with the Gibb brothers lending their backing vocals to the track.
