If you watch tennis, you’ve undoubtedly heard of Martina Navratilova. Many people believe her to be one of the best tennis players of all time.
When you look down at all of her accomplishments, it is very astounding. She has won Wimbledon nine times.
She has been number one for 332 weeks. She has won 59 grand slams and was admitted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2000.
Even if you never got to witness her play on the court, You’ve probably heard of her as a TV tennis analyst at this point.
Unfortunately, she delivered some terrible news. Both throat and breast cancers have been diagnosed.

The tennis player discovered a growth on her neck two months ago, along with an enlarged lymph node. A biopsy revealed that it was early-stage throat cancer.
During the course of her throat examinations, doctors discovered breast cancer, which is unrelated.
Navratilova, 66, stated, “This double whammy is serious but still fixable, and I’m hoping for a positive outcome.” It’ll stink for a while, but I’ll fight with everything I’ve got.”
She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and had the malignant cells removed. She was also given radiation treatment.
Navratilova is likely to begin treatment after her new cancer diagnosis within the next month.
