Fans slammed Gwen Stefani, 54, for her dress on the opening night of ‘The Voice’ Season 26

Season 26 of The Voice kicked off this week with the reveal of their new judging roster, which includes musical heavyweights like Snoop Dogg, Michael Buble, Reba McEntire, and Gwen Stefani.

Although Buble and Snoop Dogg are new to the program, fans will remember Reba and Stefani from their roles as coaches in previous seasons. The band played the Eagles’ rock song Heartache Tonight to pique the audience’s interest and serve as a fitting introduction to themselves.

And it did work. Though Gwen Stefani may not have expected to garner so much criticism for her outfit, the first night of this season’s The Voice drew criticism from all sides for a variety of reasons.

Becoming a coach on The Voice must be a truly significant honor. We’re talking about a who’s who of music industry greats, after all—John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine are just a handful of the stars that have previously held the role.

Snoop Dogg, Michael Buble, Reba McEntire, and Gwen Stefani will compete for the title of coach in Season 26. We’re convinced you’ll agree that these four outstanding performers come from quite different musical backgrounds, but we also expect their differences to make this season as exciting as past years’ must-see picks.

Even though Snoop was in a positive mood, fellow judge Gwen Stefani observed that the judges scrutinized her clothing choices. Some viewers were not pleased.

Indeed, a number of individuals sent negative remarks on social media, and the majority of them appeared to be outraged by Stefani’s dress choice.

“Why can’t Gwen dress well? Is this a show aimed at both youngsters and adults? It’s disgusting. [italics] One person was hurt.

“Gwen is too old to dress like a teenager,” commented another individual. It’s time to dress like a celebrity with style, just like Reba did.

“When Snoop and Reba sing together, they sound amazing. Gwen needed to dress like a classy woman. “Michael is doing well,” another individual stated.
