‘Flexible burglar’ caught stretching before robbing bakery

In Australia, surveillance video captured a woman engaging in a full yoga routine before allegedly breaking into a bakery and stealing various items.

The incident occurred at Phillippa’s Bakery in Richmond, Melbourne, on March 3.

Staffers discovered the burglary upon reviewing the surveillance footage, which showed the woman dressed in black performing yoga stretches in the bakery’s parking lot before entering the premises.

In a Facebook post shared by the bakery, they humorously noted the apparent need for yoga before committing the crime and mentioned that several items, including croissants, were stolen.

The bakery quipped that the croissants must have been too irresistible for the flexible burglar.

Among the stolen items were an iPad, shoes, hot cross buns, and croissants. Police later arrested a 44-year-old woman on charges of theft and burglary.
