A model and former beauty queen died weeks after an elk slammed through her windshield in an unusual collision. She was thirty.
Kseniya Alexandrova suffered significant brain damage in an event that occurred in July when she was driving in Tver Oblast, Russia. On August 12, Russian news outlet Rossiyskaya Gazeta claimed that she died in the hospital as a result of complications from her injuries.
On July 5, Alexandrova and her husband were heading home from Rzhev when their automobile collided with an elk, according to the site.

Alexandrova was in the passenger seat while her husband was driving when the animal unexpectedly leaped onto the road.
“A single second occurred between the instant it leaped out and the hit. “I didn’t have time to do anything,” Alexandrova’s spouse told Rossiyskaya Gazeta in a statement translated from Russian.
He remembers Alexandrova being unconscious following the accident, saying, “Everything was covered in blood.”
According to the spouse, several trucks stopped to aid, and emergency services arrived within 15 minutes after the incident. Alexandrova was taken to a hospital in Moscow, but her injuries proved deadly.
She married her spouse four months before the disaster, according to her Instagram.

In addition to modeling, Alexandrova competed in the Miss Universe competition in 2017. She was also named first runner-up in the Miss Russia pageant earlier that year, according to Us Weekly.
Alexandrova was also a professional psychologist, with a degree from Moscow Pedagogical State University, according to a personal Instagram update dated November 2022.
Alexandrova’s modeling agency, Modus Vivendis, announced her death in a statement posted on Instagram on August 13.
“It is with great sadness that we inform you that our colleague and friend, model Kseniya Alexandrova, passed away yesterday evening,” the message started. It was translated from Russian.

“Kseniya was bright and talented. She knew how to inspire, support, and touch the hearts of everyone around her. For us, she will always be a symbol of beauty, generosity, and inner strength,” the agency added.
“We sincerely mourn and express our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and everyone who had the good fortune to know Kseniya,” according to the statement.
