Arguments are not unusual in marriages, and George Clooney has made an unexpected disclosure about them during his 10-year marriage to wife Amal.
The 63-year-old actor married renowned human rights lawyer Amal, 47, in September 2014, and they had twins Alexander and Ella in June 2017.
In an interview with The New York Times earlier this year to promote his Broadway debut with Good Night and Good Luck, Clooney discussed his family life and meeting Amal in 2013.
“I wasn’t really looking to be a father.” Then I met Amal, and we fell in love,” he explained. “I have to say that, thereafter, everything made sense.”
Clooney appears to have underestimated his prospects when he first met his now-wife, assuming that Amal would be uninterested due to their age difference.

Speaking about that initial contact, he explained, “I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ I didn’t believe I’d have a chance with her because I was 17 years older and she appeared to have everything she needed.
During a recent interview on CBS Mornings, Clooney described his marriage and how he and Amal never disagreed.
“I remember we were here with you once before, and I remember we said we’d never argued,” the Gravity star remarked, alluding to an earlier interview.
“We still haven’t.” “We’re looking for something to fight about.”
Gayle King, the host, added, “I remember when you claimed you’d never marry or have children. Now, you’ve tied the knot with two children.
“Look what happened to me,” Clooney quipped, before adding, “I feel really fortunate to have met this great woman. I feel as though I’ve made a significant breakthrough.
“There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t believe I am the luckiest guy in the world. I feel truly grateful for it.

During the CBS Mornings conversation, Clooney replied to Donald Trump’s claim that he is a ‘fake movie actor.’
The Hollywood celebrity told King, “I don’t care. I have known Donald Trump for a long time. My job is not to appease the President of the United States. My job is to attempt to convey the truth wherever possible and when provided the opportunity. I am quite aware that people will not like it.
“People will criticize it. Elon Musk has chimed in [on me]. That’s their right. It is my right to express the opposing viewpoint.”
Trump earlier said on Truth Social, “So now bogus movie star George Clooney, who never came close to creating a terrific film, is getting into the act.
“He has turned against Crooked Joe as if they were both rats.”
