Girl recreates her mother’s high school graduation picture, and everyone says her parents do not age at all

When Madeleine Tarin, an 18-year-old graduate from Chino Hills High School, embarked on her senior year, she already had a unique way in mind to celebrate her graduation. As the significant day arrived, instead of making it solely about herself, Madeleine chose to share the moment with her family, recreating a touching picture from 17 years ago.

“We made it TOGETHER,” wrote Madeleine in her Twitter post. She continued, “My mom was 15 while pregnant with me; she had me at 16. My dad was 17. The original picture is from June 2000.” The original image captured her mom’s graduation.

Despite facing judgment for having a child at such a young age, Madeleine’s parents stayed together and raised her. She expressed, “They were determined to make it and provide me with a future. My dad worked full time in construction, and my mom was still playing soccer. Today, they have a strong, loving marriage.”

Madeleine shared the recreated images on Twitter, where they gained immense traction, accumulating over 76,000 retweets and almost 330,000 likes. In many ways, she is following in her mom’s footsteps, as she is set to attend Rider University in New Jersey on an athletic and academic scholarship to play Division 1 soccer in the fall. Madeleine expressed her gratitude, saying, “I couldn’t ask for a more loving, supportive family than the one God gave me.”

The initial tweet celebrated her family’s achievements and resilience, showcasing the determination her parents had exhibited during challenging times. The heartwarming story struck a chord with many online, highlighting the family’s pride, dedication, and unwavering spirit.
