Blake Shelton was recognized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 12, 2023, in the presence of his wife, Gwen Stefani, and stepchildren.
Stefani, along with her husband’s longtime friend Carson Daly and former “The Voice” co-star Adam Levine, delivered an emotional address at the historic occasion.
“The reason Blake Shelton is on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today is that you are a part of the country dream, the Hollywood dream, and the American dream.” And everyone knows you’re a reality for me. “I adore you,” Stefani said.
She described being there at the event awarding Shelton with a star as “mind-boggling,” adding that she and her sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, “could not be more proud.”
The mother of three hailed the “Austin” hitmaker, saying “no one” is more real than him and that he represents the pinnacle of country music. All Shelton ever wanted to do was sing country music, and she highlighted his accomplishments over the years, including multiple No. 1 hits and a lengthy tenure on “The Voice.”
Stefani characterized Shelton as a “rare human being,” noting that despite his accomplishments, he remains loyal to himself. Following her speech, he applauded her, adding, “I kind of stopped checking things off my list of great accomplishments in my life when I married Gwen, so this is just icing on the cake.”
Shelton posed for a family shot with his adored wife and stepsons during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. His stepchildren wore their hair long and curly, much like he did in his childhood.
Shelton, at 28, wore his long brown hair to the CMT Flame Worthy Video Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, in April 2004.
For the occasion, he went for a cowboy appearance, donning a shirt beneath, a jacket on top, pants, and a cowboy hat. He has now retired from his great profession after several years.
Shelton stated in 2022 that he would be quitting “The Voice” to spend more time with Stefani and her boys, whom she has with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale.

“If I walked away from my career at this time,” he continued, “the only thing I run the risk of having regrets about is missing out on some more important things in life.”
Although the television personality is Stefani’s stepfather, he does not take the job lightly, according to the Hollywood A-lister.
Shelton noted that the boys regard him as an “important” person in their lives, and if he misses anything and they inquire about his whereabouts, it bothers him. He doesn’t want to live a life full of regret.
Shelton and Stefani met while working on “The Voice” in 2015 and quickly fell in love after their divorces. He was previously married to Miranda Lambert, and Stefani was previously married to Rossdale before they began dating.
The couple dated for five years until Shelton proposed to the No Doubt singer in October 2020. He shared the exciting news on Instagram, along with a snapshot of the couple kissing following his proposal. Stefani also posted the lovely moment to her Instagram account, complete with a ring emoji.

Shelton claimed two years before the proposal that his early relationship with the pop diva helped him get through his traumatic divorce after his four-year marriage ended.
In a June 2018 interview, he called it a “miracle” that they met while they were both dealing with the collapse of their marriages. In retrospect, they both thought their affair was a “rebound.” Time, however, proved differently.
