Drake, whose actual name is Aubrey Drake Graham, released his new track ‘Slime You Out’ on Friday, featuring American singer-songwriter SZA.
The Canadian teased the five-minute tune on Instagram a day before its release.
He shared a photo of Berry, 57, being slimed’ during the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
The Catwoman star was seen in the photo with green slime flowing down her face and over her hands while she kept her mouth wide in frustration.
However, it appears that neither Drake nor SZA, real name Solana Imani Rowe, considered obtaining Berry’s permission before utilizing the photograph as an alternate cover for their new single.
Berry took to social media after the photo was released on both artists’ Instagram pages to express her mysterious, quick reaction.

“Sometimes you just have to be the bigger guy… Even if you’re a woman!” Berry made a post.
Later, in the comments area of the articles, the Oscar winner explained how the image made her feel.
In response to a fan who inquired, ‘Thoughts on Drake utilizing that photo of you for his single?’ “I didn’t get my permission,” she explained.
“That is not acceptable. “I had second thoughts about him,” she added. “Thus, my post today. “When individuals you adore let you down, you must be the larger person and go on!”
Despite Berry’s protest, neither Drake nor SZA, 33, have replied to using the image to advertise their cooperation.

Berry’s Instagram comments, on the other hand, have been filled with admirers defending the band’s usage of the shot.
“Acting like he’s not going to make you relevant again,” one Drake supporter said.
Another person said, “You could find the picture on Google; I don’t see the problem.”
“You’re not even looking at the official cover art; he just posted that picture to announce it.” “You’re trying way too hard to be a victim,” said a third.
Among the nasty remarks has been a surge of support for the X-Men star.
“A lot of these responses show that far too many children are being raised by a phone and the internet. Smh, more technology seems to equal more stupidity and less humanity,” one admirer said.
“@halleberry is an international treasure,” said another. That’s not a cool move. Respect!”
Another concurred, writing, “Some of these responses are like, whoa! What’s the matter with you humans?” Treat others the way you want to be treated.”
