Holly Marie Combs, star of “Charmed,” has had several dramatic changes in her life after overcoming health concerns. The actress has made it plain that she is done caring about the shallow views of others by flaunting her new appearance at the age of 49.
The “Pretty Little Liars” starlet was spotted out with her “Charmed” co-star and love interest, Brian Krause, wearing a long black coat and looking as “magical” as ever. The stunning actress wore all black while posing for a photo with friends in Paris, France.

Combs revealed her health problems in a podcast session, which began while she was filming the first season of the all-time series favorite “Charmed.” During the run of the drama series “Love’s Complicated,” the actress said that she had a tumor developing in her uterus that was “the size of a baseball.”
According to the Hollywood actress, there was concern that the lump may be malignant, so the performance was paused for two weeks while she underwent surgery to remove it. Combs stated her diagnosis at the time as follows:
“They discovered a rather large tumor in my uterus during [the first] season, and it continued to grow at an unhealthily rapid rate.”

The show continued shooting after her successful operation, and Combs revealed that she had difficulties walking. As a result, her character, Piper, was seen sitting down for most of her sequences.
Despite her difficulties, Combs believes that the circumstances drew the cast, particularly the two ladies who played her sisters, Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano, closer together:
“During this time, we all became very close.” Alyssa and her mother would take Shannen’s place when she left my hospital room. When I got home, Alyssa’s mother had cooked me chicken soup and food for the week because it was a significant operation [and] the ladies really pulled together for me during this time.”

Combs went on to say that the public has no idea about the three co-stars’ closeness and established connections. The “Picket Fences” actress revealed how protective she is of the show and the memorable moments she enjoyed with her fellow castmates:
“I’m very protective of the show and my role in it, but I’m also extremely protective of moments like this one..” Nobody knows how much Shannen and Alyssa helped me during this difficult period. Nobody knows what we went through behind the scenes, how much we accomplished together, or how close we were.”
Later in the podcast session, Combs said that she is looking forward to having two more benign lumps removed that developed after her first operation. The Hollywood celebrity was insistent about not publicizing the news much since she values privacy and wants to preserve the show’s heritage.
In a tweet on August 5, 2021, the “Dr. Giggles” star revealed that she may have two or three autoimmune disorders. The celebrity shared the news to encourage others to stay healthy and safe.
Combs confessed in 2020 that she no longer cares what other people think of her present appearance after watching her on “Charmed.” The actress retweeted a message from fellow actress Yvette Nicole Brown, who stated:
“I don’t mind whether you refer to me as z-list, old, overweight, or ugly. I may be any of those things on any given day.”

Despite dealing with a slew of difficult health challenges, Combs has done much in her life that she should be proud of. Aside from her great acting career, Combs has also revealed how she met the right man after having three boys.
Combs had been married twice before meeting her present spouse. She married actor Brian Travis Smith in 1993, but the pair divorced four years later, in 1997. Combs married another actor, David W. Donoho, in 2004, and they have three kids: Finley Arthur Donoho, Riley Edward Donoho, and Kelley James Donoho. Donoho and Combs divorced in 2011.
When she attended the 90s Con last year (2022), Combs revealed a scene from “Charmed” in which she disobeyed a request from the show’s creators.

In 2016, Combs met restauranteur Mike Ryan at his Los Angeles restaurant, Xoc. Combs claims she didn’t see their connection developing, and it caught her off guard.
“It’s the old adage that when you’re not looking for something, you find it.” And it hit me square in the face! Our connection was so instant, and just when I thought I’d found the right person, the perfect person appeared.”
Ryan proposed to Combs in 2017 after the couple courted and went on formal dates while remaining cautious due to the fact that both were single parents at the time. The restauranteur made certain that all of their children, including his own daughter, were present for the big event.

The pair married in Carmel, California, in a very small outdoor ceremony and exchanged vows inside a redwood grove at Saint Lucia Preserve. The happy couple was surrounded by relatives and friends, including Combs’ former co-stars, Brian Kraus and Drew Fuller.
Combs wore a lovely, exquisite white bridal gown with loose sleeves that fell softly just off her shoulders. The gown was mostly made of tulle, and it was capped with a veil-like cape that covered her entire body.
The actress accessorized her appearance with exquisite silver jewelry, including a throwback spikey crown on her head and an ornate necklace. Her husband looked sharp in a black tuxedo with a white undershirt and a modern-looking bow; his hair was slicked back.

Combs and Ryan are in love, and the “Charmed” star never misses a chance to share cute photos of the two of them. On August 19, 2017, the actress published a slew of couple photos on Instagram, along with a comment about how thankful she is to have found the “right” one for her:
“I’ve been wrong a million times, but one thing I got right was you.” I’ve got one thing right, baby.”

Combs’ three sons are now adolescents, and the proud boy-mom constantly publishes adoring photos and videos of the trio on her Instagram profile. All of the boys were dressed to the nines for a front-row seat at their mother’s magnificent wedding, and they looked handsome in their black-tie suits.
Her boys are seen roaming around what appears to be a goat farm in a charming Instagram video that the celebrity shared on her profile on April 8, 2023. The eldest son appears to be fully grown, sporting a full mustache, while the three sons play with the goats and spend great family time.

Combs shared a scene from “Charmed” in which she disobeyed a request from the show’s creators while attending the 90s Con in 2022. The Hollywood A-lister said that she did not wear a bra throughout the majority of the show’s recording for a specific reason:
“They wanted me to wear a big, padded push-up bra, and I said, ‘no,’ which is why there are so many scenes where I’m not wearing a bra at all.” Which I apologize for, but it was [critical] at the time.”

Combs said the request was passed on to her indirectly on set. The actor described how the request would be sent via a network of employees on-site before reaching her:
“They tried to be gentle, but the messages got down through the ranks.” Then there’d be that unhappy individual who had to deliver the word to you. Usually, it was down to wardrobe, and they’d put various bras in my changing room, and I’d be like, ‘Those belong to somebody else.'”

The “Point of Entry” star stood firm and refused the request regardless of the circumstances. When one of the panel’s hosts questioned whether production had offered her an option, Combs responded, No.
Combs was unconcerned that he was the only person on the scene who refused such requests from superiors. She further contrasted her experience to that of her co-stars Milano and McGowan, who, she said, did not require push-up bras.

Combs has had many challenges in her life, but she has overcome them all and now lives a “Charmed” existence. She has a great life with her loving spouse and adorable children now that she has met her perfect match.
