A YouTube movie developed by DG Eye Science depicts the terrifying facts of what would happen if you were accidentally flung out of your space suit’ while adrift in space.

Most of us will not be able to relate to this circumstance, but it is pretty intriguing because it is not what you may assume.

According to the video, surprisingly, you probably wouldn’t explode,’ which is a concept more commonly seen in movies.

Watching the cartoon’s head explode is definitely the most disturbing portion of the simulation film.

Rather, the gases in your body ‘will begin to expand’ and the air in your lungs ‘will cause your lung tissue to burst’ in the first few seconds.

Within five seconds, the ‘water on the surface of the eyes, skin, and mouth’ begins to evaporate, and the water in your blood begins to boil.

The simulation then depicts the body inflating and expanding, almost like a large human balloon, since the skin is “elastic and strong enough to withstand pressure.”

After blacking out, the heart eventually slows down and stops’ before you ‘die of asphyxiation,’ with the corpse becoming gray in the video.

According to Popular Science, an astronaut exposed to space’s vacuum would see their blood, as well as the water in their body, vaporize in just 10 seconds.

They’d lose consciousness in 15 seconds when their body expanded and their lungs collapsed.

In 30 seconds, the unlucky astronaut would be paralyzed, or more likely dead, from asphyxiation or decompression.

The bizarre crash adventure begins with a human figure getting pulled into the engine before soon dissolving into minute red fragments as if a large tomato had been thrown into a food processor.

Surprisingly, the close-up views illustrate how quickly death would come for the unfortunate victim since there isn’t much left of the animation after a few seconds.
