There is no better time for Kim Kardashian to introduce her SKIMS Faux Leather Swim and Rubberized Scuba Swim collections than now, when swimsuit season is in full force. Steven Klein, a renowned photographer, captures the reality star wearing one of the brand’s sassy black faux leather bikinis.
Fans got their first look at all of Kardashian’s swimsuits and bikinis as part of the SKIMS campaign, which was launched on June 27. Each one is masterfully styled with long black gloves and thigh-high boots. The 361 million Instagram users who follow the creator of SKKN were quick to comment on the new collection, with one fervent fan exclaiming that they “need it now.”
Regarding their work together on the campaign, Kardashian praised Klein for his “creative touch and vision,” adding: “Steven and I have collaborated on so many iconic images over the years, and I’m grateful that we once again have partnered on SKIMS for the new swim campaign.” In the meantime, Klein praised Kardashian as well, calling her an “icon.”
In a statement, he stated, “Working with icons inspires me as a photographer. The spectator may superimpose a dream reality—a sort of hyper existence—on top of the real world because of the magnetic attraction icons provide. Icons are the alphabet of desire; they are symbols. Kim is fluent in this language.

The entire ensemble, which is currently available online and comes in the colors black, brown, and grey, also includes a microstring thong, a fake leather swim skirt, and a microbandeau top.
