Jamie Lee Curtis has responded to an outfit that left many of her followers ‘distracted.’
The Freaky Friday star is no stranger to memes, and the 66-year-old has addressed several of them directly in the past.
Curtis is a no-nonsense character, so she was bound to respond cheekily to a viral video of her talking about Freakier Friday, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2003 blockbuster that debuted in theaters earlier this month.
The Oscar winner donned an attire she characterized as a costume for her Freaky Friday character, Tess Coleman.
“Forgive me, I’m distracted,” one user said in the comments of Disney Studios’ Instagram video, which rapidly went viral and spawned memes.
Curtis responded to the news earlier this week by sharing a photo of herself donning the costume and displaying the peace sign.

The actor captioned the post with “LOVE the fact that the LAST photograph of me as TESS taken backstage in costume from my surprise appearance at @elcapitanthtre to support #freakierfriday has gotten more attention than any other since the announcement post with @lindsaylohan that sparked the movie’s production!”

Freakier Curtis and Lindsay Lohan reunited on Friday, 22 years after the first film’s release.
Curtis told People last month that her coworker is someone she can ‘trust.’
“If I tell her something, it’s going to stay with her,” she told me. “We’ve both gone through difficult times because we’re living, and life is hard. We’re not dead yet. So the truth of our experience together defies all of the Hollywood hype.
“We connected, and we remained linked. And that is unique and unusual for me.”
Lohan reciprocated the praise, adding to Curtis, “I need to feel safe around people.” Jamie is one of the individuals with whom I feel safe. I feel really safe with you. I feel comfortable telling you stuff.
“Jamie was there for me while I was going through a difficult period in public. She was genuinely supportive of me in private.”
And Curtis appears to be on hand with guidance, as Lohan recounts her colleagues’ words of wisdom on the set of Freaky Friday years ago.
“You remarked, ‘The way you come up to set every day represents how everyone’s day will go. And you set the tone. So leave everything at home,” Lohan recalled.
