Jennifer Aniston discussed why she doesn’t appear to age as she celebrates her 56th birthday

Jennifer Aniston of The Morning Show is enjoying another year around the sun, yet she continues to resist the signs of aging.

Aniston, like her old Friends co-star Paul Rudd, simply refuses to age. Perhaps it’s a sitcom thing?

The performer is 56 today (February 11), and fans have filled social media with birthday greetings, many of which include images and snippets from some of her most legendary performances.

After establishing herself as Hollywood royalty in the character of Rachel on Friends, Aniston has since gone on to feature in titles such as Marley & Me, Horrible Bosses, and Murder Mystery, as well as her more recent role as morning show host Alex Levy in Apple TV’s The Morning Show.

People use images from all these decades to celebrate Aniston’s birthday, yet her appearance seems to stay the same every year.

It’s a goal that many people aim for, and happily, the star has already spoken up about how she cares for her mental and physical health.

She complimented the benefits of fitness, adding that she feels really lovely after a workout, knowing that she has taken care of her body, that her endorphins are running, and that her blood is rushing.

“I’m taking care of the one body I have,” she told me.

In an interview with Vogue, Aniston discussed being conscious of the type of material she consumes to focus on what is essential.

As part of this practice, she avoids checking her phone first thing in the morning, stating, “I don’t glance at my phone for at least an hour after waking up.

“The mental change this creates affects the entire day. I keep my chargers in a drawer six feet from my bed, and I have a little iPod or iPhone from 1912 that I swiped clean and just use for alarms and sleep applications.”

In addition to restricting her phone use, Aniston avoids social media, which she describes as ‘poison.’.

She explained, “I appreciate the purity with which it was born, and the aim was to bring people together and form a social community. While this is admirable, it’s important to acknowledge the negative aspects as well—people often engage in emotional attacks on these platforms.

Finally, when it comes to cosmetic goods, Aniston has stated that she would not cooperate with any businesses until she fully believes in what they are delivering. She previously partnered with wellness company Vital Proteins, which Aniston found when her doctor advised her to incorporate collagen supplements into her routine.

“My joints, nails, hair, skin, everything just started to improve,” she added, noting that collagen synthesis decreases as we age.

As she approaches her 56th birthday, Aniston has described aging as a “luxury.”
