Jennifer Aniston has revealed her favorite movie role

Jennifer Aniston has had a very successful career spanning many decades, and she is widely regarded as one of Hollywood’s brightest stars thanks to her roles in The Morning Show, We’re The Millers, Cake, and, of course, the iconic ’90s comedy that initially placed her on the map, Friends. However, the actress already revealed the part she is most proud of, which may surprise viewers.

Aniston revealed to Vanity Fair in 2014 that she is most proud of Dr. Julia Harris in the popular 2011 comedy Horrible Bosses, a crass and openly flirty dentist who often crosses the line with her assistant Dale (played by Charlie Day). “I love Dr. Julia,” Aniston said at the time. “You know, I loved playing the crazy woman in Horrible Bosses.”

The film chronicles the narrative of best friends Nick Hendricks, Dale Arbus, and Kurt Buckman, who organize a scheme to assassinate their employers. It also stars Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Colin Farrell, Donald Sutherland, and Jamie Foxx. Horrible Bosses 2, the sequel, was published in 2014.

Aniston characterized the character of Dr. Julia as a “departure” from some of her past big-screen appearances in 2011, which is why she accepted the job. “The minute it [the script] showed up at my door and I read her first scene, I was dying to do it,” the actor explained.

This isn’t the first time Aniston has reflected on some of her most memorable roles. In a 2021 interview with InStyle, the actor reminisced about her experience with the 1999 movie Office Space, which she described as a “cult classic,” and revealed the “embarrassing” movie part she believed would wreck her career.
