Jennifer Lopez was worried Leonardo DiCaprio would be ‘mad’ when she revealed his ‘flirty’ reaction to a text

The ‘Jenny From the Block’ singer, 55, executed a hilarious prank during an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, sending amorous text messages to the Oscar-winner, 49.

Lopez appeared on Corden’s music-themed feature Carpool Karaoke in 2016, when the two performed some of her biggest singles, including ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing’ and ‘On the Floor’.

They also found time to fool DiCaprio.

Corden actually wrote the text message Lopez received from his phone, which read: “Hey darling, I’m feeling like I need to let go.” Any suggestions? Let me know, J Lo.” You know, from the block.”

The Monster in Law actress sat and watched Corden type on her phone. In a hilarious twist, DiCaprio reacted, and he was very game.

“You mean tonight, boo-boo?” he asked, referring to the club.

The following year, Lopez returned to Corden’s program, and the two pranksters disclosed some further facts regarding their text discussion with the Titanic star.

In their first meeting since filming the Carpool Karaoke episode, Corden said that messaging DiCaprio was his favorite aspect of their collaboration, and who can blame him?

“How mad did he get?” Corden questioned Lopez, who had guests Terry Crews and Justin Theroux join him on the show.

She said, “He was not furious at all! I was concerned he’d be upset when it all came out, but he was delightful about it.

The late-night presenter then recounted the text message to everyone in the studio.

Lopez described waiting for the Hollywood bachelor to respond as the ‘most humiliating 20 minutes’ of his life.

When DiCaprio eventually responded, the mother of two expressed amazement that he assumed it was her.

She went further: “He answered back like it was totally normal that you would speak that way to him.”

Corden probed for additional juicy tidbits, saying, “Did you know he calls you boo-boo?” JLo appeared to mock DiCaprio’s everlasting bachelor persona.

She laughed: “I guess he calls every girl boo-boo!”

In another unexpected development, a firm began producing T-shirts with DiCaprio’s text message on the front.

It’s unclear whether DiCaprio was in on the prank, but one thing’s certain: he’ll always come through when you need to let go.
