Jeremy Renner is expressing admiration for his young daughter. The 52-year-old actor shared his affection for his 10-year-old, Ava Berlin, in an Instagram post on Monday. He described her as the primary reason for his recovery following a harrowing snowplow accident on January 1, 2023, where he sustained life-threatening injuries.
Upon returning home on January 14, Renner recounted asking Ava to “wait for me.” He noted the reciprocal nature of their healing, with her becoming less fearful as he improved. Renner emphasized the powerful motivation to recover for the sake of family and friends, expressing gratitude for the love and support he received over the past year.

In the Instagram post, the Marvel star also acknowledged the release of his new single, “Wait,” and announced the upcoming launch of his Love and Titanium EP on January 19. Reflecting on the challenging previous year, Renner acknowledged breaking over 30 bones and undergoing multiple surgeries after a snowplow accident while assisting his nephew in Reno, Nevada.
In a recent post, Renner shared his joyful visit to the hospital where he received treatment, expressing gratitude to the community for keeping him there. He mentioned riding in a RennerVation Foundation firetruck and celebrating love, life, and blessings with hospital staff, first responders, and children.

Renner, who appeared on CNN’s New Year’s Eve broadcast, spoke with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen about his recovery journey. He highlighted the importance of his family, particularly his daughter, as a driving force for his healing.
