Jessie J was diagnosed with breast cancer.
The singer gave an update on her health in a frank Instagram video released on Tuesday, June 3, stating that she was “going back and forth” about releasing it.
“I want to share it with my followers and those that care about me, and I am also a sharer. I’ve always been open about my life experiences.”. I was diagnosed with early breast cancer before the release of ‘No Secrets,” she explained.
In April, the English pop artist debuted her single “No Secrets.”

“I’ve highlighted the term early. Cancer hurts in any form, but I’m keeping the word early,” she said. “I have been in and out of tests throughout this whole period.”
The singer stated that she wants to “be open and share it.” “One reason is that, selfishly, I do not talk about it enough,” she answered. “I’m not digesting it because I’m working too hard. I also know how much sharing has helped me in the past, with others showering me with love and support, as well as their tales.
She mentioned that her diagnosis was unexpected, but she is pleased to be “getting to keep [her] nipples.”
“It’s a really theatrical approach to getting a breast job. I’m going to vanish for a while after Summertime Ball to have my operation, and I’ll be returning with enormous t— and more music,” she explained. Capital’s Summertime Ball takes place on Sunday, June 15.

In the caption, Jessie explained how she felt about having a two-year-old kid named Sky with partner Chanan Safir Colman.
Her caption read, “No (more) secrets. Is it too soon to produce a remix called ‘Living my best life’? 🥴 All joking aside (you know it’s one of my coping mechanisms), the last two months have been great, and having this on the sidelines has provided me with the most incredible perspective. BUT… Your daughter needs a hug. 🫂🫀🔋 Also, I’m not getting enormous t—, or am I? No, no… “I must stop joking.”
In the comment area, the singer received encouragement from several pals, including Gaby Roslin, who wrote, “Sending you so much love and enormous hugs 🥰.”
Jahnavi Harrison left a message: “Much love and prayers for strength and courage to go through whatever lies ahead. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for allowing us to cheer for you and send our love.”
