In an exclusive interview with the Los Angeles Times, the 56-year-old talk show host shared that his current contract could potentially be his last. Kimmel acknowledged the skepticism his statement might generate, saying, “I hate to even mention it because everyone’s laughing at me now — each time I think that, and then it turns out to not be the case.”

Reflecting on the 21st anniversary of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, Kimmel expressed introspection and suggested that the remaining two-plus years on his current contract feel like a satisfactory duration. “I still have a little more than two years left on my contract, and that seems pretty good,” he noted. “That seems like enough.”

While contemplating a potential departure from late-night television, Kimmel is uncertain about how he’ll spend his free time post-“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” He hinted at diverse interests, including cooking, drawing, and exploring the art of sculpture, acknowledging that his next endeavors might not be widely known to others.
