Julia Roberts showcased her affection for her longtime friend George Clooney at the Kennedy Center Honors event in Washington, DC, on Sunday by wearing a custom-designed gown covered in photos of the actor. The dress, created by Moschino’s creative director Jeremy Scott, featured various images from Clooney’s career, including his role in “ER” and a polka-dot cover for W Magazine’s December 2013 art issue, all framed in gold.

Elizabeth Stewart, Roberts’ stylist, shared the details on Instagram. The actress complemented the red-carpet look with a cropped black blazer and silver jewelry. Notably, Roberts had a different outfit for the reception held by President Joe Biden earlier in the evening, donning a sleek black ensemble with shiny lapels.

George Clooney, honored at the event for his extensive acting career and philanthropy, shares a longstanding friendship with Roberts. They first met on the set of the 2001 heist film “Ocean’s Eleven” and recently co-starred in the 2022 romantic comedy “Ticket to Paradise.” The duo is known for their playful banter and pranks on set. In a 2013 speech at the BAFTA Britannia Awards, Clooney praised Roberts as an amazing mother, wife, and a great friend, emphasizing their strong bond.

Representatives for Roberts and Stewart did not immediately respond to requests for comment, as reported by Insider.
