Julia Roberts celebrates her 23rd wedding anniversary with Danny Moder by sharing a heartfelt photo of the couple

Julia Roberts and husband Danny Moder are celebrating 23 years together.

On July 4, the Ticket to Paradise actress made a lovely Instagram post that said, “You + Me = 23.”

Roberts, 57, and Moder, 56, got married on July 4, 2002, after meeting and working together on the set of The Mexican. The couple has three children: Henry, 18, and twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 20.

On Independence Day 2002, the Oscar-winning Erin Brockovich and cinematographer Moder married in secret at Roberts’ 82-acre estate in Taos, New Mexico. Her friend and lawyer, Barry Hirsch, officiated the surprise ceremony, which included the pair exchanging modest handwritten vows with no flower girls, wedding parties, or famous guests.

Michael Dennison, the costume designer who designed the actress’ pale pink cotton wedding gown embellished with pearls and hand-painted flowers, told PEOPLE that Roberts was “gloriously happy” at the moment. “These two people are deeply in love.”

Roberts’ latest celebration of their love isn’t the first time she’s shown off Moder on social media. The Leave the World Behind star celebrated their 21st anniversary two years ago with an Instagram photo of them smooching, captioned “#truelove #heckyeah #fromhereonout.”

“He’s my favorite person on the planet,” Roberts told PEOPLE of her spouse in 2015. “I enjoy spending time with him. His perspective is quite helpful to me.

Roberts’ forthcoming cinematic ventures include Luca Guadagnino’s After the Hunt (in cinemas October 17), costarring Andrew Garfield and Ayo Edebiri, and Sam Esmail’s Panic. Carefully costarring Elizabeth Olsen and Eddie Redmayne.
