Julian McMahon’s daughter is honoring the late actor on what would have been his 57th birthday.
Madison Elizabeth McMahon, whom McMahon had with his ex-wife, Baywatch actress Brooke Burns, posted a photo of herself and her father cuddling on Instagram Stories on Sunday, July 27, to commemorate his birthday after his passing earlier this month.
Madison, 25, captioned the photograph, “Dad. Happy birthday.” There will never be enough words to express how much I miss you.”
“And somehow, even less than that captures how deeply I love you,” she ended by saying. “All I know is that I’ll miss you and love you forever.”
Ray Stevens’ 1968 song “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow” played in the backdrop of the post.

The post came after McMahon’s wife, Kelly Paniagua, revealed in a statement obtained by PEOPLE on July 4 that the Nip/Tuck and Charmed actor died on July 2 in Clearwater, Fla., after battling cancer privately.
“With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” Paniagua told reporters.
“Julian liked life. He adored his family. He adored his pals. He was passionate about both his job and his followers. His innermost desire was to provide joy to as many people as possible,” she said. “We beg for help at this difficult time so that our family can grieve privately. And we hope that all of those to whom Julian provided joy may continue to find joy in life. We are glad for these memories.”
According to a Cremation Approval Summary Report from the Pinellas County Medical Examiner’s Office in Florida, McMahon died from lung metastasis as a result of head and neck metastatic cancer. This was confirmed exclusively by PEOPLE.
The Australian actor’s death was pronounced natural, and his remains were cremated.

McMahon (whose father was former Australian Prime Minister William McMahon) portrayed Dr. Christian Troy in Ryan Murphy’s sitcom Nip/Tuck from 2003 to 2010. From 2000 until 2005, he played Cole Turner, the love interest of Alyssa Milano’s character Phoebe on Charmed.
In the superhero films Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), McMahon plays the evil Victor Von Doom. His most recent television appearance was in Netflix’s The Residence, which was recently canceled after one season.
He starred in the CBS crime series FBI: Most Wanted; however, he announced his departure in January 2022.
Prior to marrying Paniagua in 2014, the actor was married to Australian singer Dannii Minogue and Madison’s mother, Burns, 47.
McMahon’s final red carpet appearance was on March 10, 2025, in Austin, Texas, when he premiered his film The Surfer alongside co-star Nicolas Cage at the SXSW Film & TV Festival.
