Kanye West made a surprising comeback to the Grammys, while his wife, Bianca Censori, debuted at the show in nearly nothing.

On Sunday, Feb. 2, the couple appeared at the 2024 awards presentation unexpectedly, with the artist, 47, strolling the red carpet hand in hand with the Yeezy architectural designer and model, 30, who wore nothing but a short outfit made of sheer illusion netting.

For the couple’s uncommon and surprising appearance, West dressed in all black—jeans, a T-shirt, and sunglasses—and, while Censori first complimented him with a black fur coat, she then removed it to show her nearly totally nude outfit.

As the couple, known for their daring and theatrical styles, walked the carpet, Censori turned around next to West, who was still facing the paparazzi, and dropped her floor-length jacket, revealing practically no covering at all.

Censori wore clear heels with her almost invisible dress, over which she draped nothing. She twisted her hair into a neat bun and applied makeup that included a thin brow, smokey eye, and nude lip.

Censori and West (who were honored at the ceremony for “Carnival,” his collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, Playboi Carti, and Rich the Kid) did not attend the main performance, instead leaving after their red carpet presentation, according to PEOPLE.

In addition to creating a stir on the red carpet, Censori’s nearly entirely nude appearance sparked a heated debate on social media, with many questioning the style’s inspiration and legality.

“No way, Bianca Censori just showed up to the Grammys like that,” one user on X said. “She is dead—naked.”

Another X user, however, questioned if the model’s appearance is legal, adding, “Surely that’s public indecency and warrants arrest????”

“How is Bianca Censori dressing like Eve before the fall at a public event?” Another post was repeated. “Is indecent exposure no longer a law?”

The couple’s unexpected arrival also marked West’s comeback to the Grammys after a decade. He last attended the awards presentation in 2015, when he walked the red carpet alongside then-wife Kim Kardashian.
