Kate Beckinsale made a fashion statement at Leonardo DiCaprio’s 49th birthday party.

The 50-year-old actress was among the A-listers at the actor’s party on Saturday in Beverly Hills, and she changed into a life-size sapphire diamond for the occasion!

Beckinsale looked stunning in a shimmering strapless little dress from The Blonds’ fall 2023 runway collection, which was embellished with brilliant decorations and a huge rectangular sapphire-like ornament put on the belt. Along the neckline, there were extra layers of crystal decorations.

Her outfit appeared to be an homage to DiCaprio’s most renowned films, including Titanic, since her eye-catching item mirrored the famed Heart of the Ocean diamond necklace featured in the 1997 film.

Some speculated that the actress was referring to her and DiCaprio’s film, The Aviator, specifically the scene in which she (as Ava Gardner) declares “I am not for sale” as she dismisses the sapphire necklace gifted to her by DiCaprio’s character Howard Hughes.

Beckinsale posted photographs of her costume on Instagram, along with platform ankle-strap shoes, sparkly drop earrings, and a giant hair bow, stating “Powerpuff girls are going,” but left her inspiration open to interpretation.

This isn’t the first time Beckinsale has arrived at a function dressed to the nines.

She wore a Tony Ward Couture ensemble to the Zodiac Ball at the Houdini Estate in Los Angeles in September, consisting of a gold bodysuit and a lavish wide-brimmed hat with a veil that touched the ground and also included ornate gold details. In gold platform heels, she stood tall.

This weekend, DiCaprio welcomed some of the greatest stars in entertainment, including Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Snoop Dogg, Tobey Maguire, Taika Waititi, and Axl Rose. According to the insider, Lil Wayne was also present and even performed, and “at one point everyone was singing classic hip hop.”

DiCaprio’s purported love interest, Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, was also present to celebrate. According to a source, the two were “affectionate and kissing throughout the night.”

DiCaprio, on the other hand, was “raised and carried around the room” at one point, according to the insider. The celebration continued until the early morning hours, with several attendees remaining until 4 a.m.
