“You are no longer a necessary part of the clinical team, but you are unable to operate regularly at home as you formerly did. And I believe that having someone to speak to you through it, show you, and lead you through the post-treatment phase is quite beneficial.

The Princess of Wales described the experience as “life-changing,” emphasizing the need for time to adjust to a new normal. And it’s a rollercoaster; it’s not as smooth as you’d imagine,” she explained. “But the reality is you go through hard times.”
