Keanu Reeves recently met a child fan, and it may have been the most heartwarming encounter ever.

The kindest person in Hollywood took time out of his busy day to play catch with a nine-year-old child who had been waiting for the A-Lister for a long time.

Stopping in the middle of the street, the duo plays ball while others look on. Take a look at the examples below:

In between beating up bad dudes, the John Wick actor was scheduled to perform with his band, Dogstar.

Annette Cruz and her two young grandchildren, Elijah and Caleb, were patiently waiting outside the House of Blues in Houston.

Having met a slew of celebrities in the past, the grandmother was excited to meet the 58-year-old, and Reeves did not disappoint.

However, they nearly missed out on the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity after failing to recognize the A-Lister.

“He kind of came out, and I didn’t expect his hair to be like a little white,” Caleb later told KHOU 11, adding, “I knew his hair was long, but I didn’t expect it to be white.”

The group quickly identified the speed star, prompting Elijah to make the unexpected request.

“I asked him the first time, and he kind of mumbled something,” he told reporters. He went on to say, “But I didn’t hear him, so I asked him again, and he said, ‘Yeah, come on, let’s go’.”

Unsurprisingly, the nine-year-old was terrified about facing the action hero, but he quickly calmed down.

In fact, the two engaged in play, with the actor even complementing the youngster on his pitching arm.

“I was surprised he did it, and then he said, ‘Hey, he’s got a great spiral,'” Cruz told KHOU 11, adding, “That’s a day he’ll never forget.”

Of course, all good things must come to an end, and the actor-turned-rocker had to return inside, but not before taking a few photographs with his little followers.

The Bill & Ted Excellent Adventure actor is presently on tour with his colleagues Bret Domrose and Robert Mailhouse across the United States.

It’s the rock band’s third album after a 20-year hiatus while Reeves created a name for himself in Hollywood.
