Keanu Reeves has recently unveiled a striking change in his hairstyle. While accustomed to seeing the 59-year-old actor with his iconic long, shoulder-length locks, it seems his latest project demanded a much shorter look. Reeves underwent a significant haircut for his role in Jonah Hill’s dark comedy, “Outcome.”

New images of Reeves captured on March 19 reveal him on set donning a classic, neatly trimmed crew cut. His salt-and-pepper beard also appears to have been trimmed shorter. While not his shortest hairstyle to date (he famously sported a buzz cut for “The Matrix Resurrections”), it’s notably shorter than the shoulder-length layers he has been known for, particularly in his role in the John Wick franchise.

It appears Reeves opted for the haircut earlier this month, as a photo from March 9 shows him with a slightly untamed crew cut at a party alongside his girlfriend Alexandra Grant, Rob Lowe, Lowe’s wife Sheryl, and their son John.

Fans were quick to notice the actor’s new look, with one commenting, “Love the new haircut Keanu… you shaved off a few years. You look as sexy as ever!”

The last sightings of Reeves with his long hair were on Feb. 29, while filming “Good Fortune,” and on Feb. 4, when he attended the Saturn Awards sporting a shoulder-length bob with a classic suit and tie.
In “Outcome,” directed by Hill, Reeves portrays Reef, a Hollywood star grappling with his troubled past as he faces extortion with a mysterious video clip from his history.

This week, Apple Original Films announced that Cameron Diaz is in final negotiations to star alongside Reeves and Hill in the film. Should her involvement be confirmed, it would mark the second collaboration between Reeves and Diaz, following their appearance together in 1996’s “Feeling Minnesota.”
