The Grammy-winning artist shared a video on the Nov. 27 episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show” in which her son, Remy, 8, warms up the audience by singing Frank Sinatra’s iconic “My Way” before the performance.
He sang, “I planned each charted course/ Each careful step along the byway/ And more, much more than this/ I did it my way,” as Clarkson’s band backed him up and the audience, including Clarkson’s daughter, River, aged 10, cheered him on.
Clarkson was a proud mother following the event, as she shares both children with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.
“He entered the room today and inquired, ‘To whom should I address in order to perform my song?'” She jokingly stated, “I said, ‘OK, sir.'” “They are exceedingly enjoyable.” I have an immense affection for my children.

Clarkson’s children have previously demonstrated their family’s instruments. The deluxe edition of Clarkson’s 2023 album, “Chemistry,” features River’s contribution to her mother’s composition “You Don’t Make Me Cry.”
“We simply adored it, and it fit seamlessly into the record. She then entered the studio and inquired, ‘May I sing?'” As part of the Citi Concert Series, Clarkson addressed the third hour of TODAY last year. My producer simply removed my vocals, allowing her to croon the entire track. “It is just adorable.”

However, the performer of “Since You Been Gone” is not necessarily anticipating that her children will follow in her footsteps in the music industry.
“I will not refrain from exerting myself,” she declared.
“I am a parent; you may do as you please.” I find it challenging to sit here and say, “Don’t do this; it’s a difficult industry,” given that I am actively involved in it. I believe children raised in such an environment are inspired or want to participate. I can understand that if they choose to, they could potentially pursue careers as teachers, doctors, or any other profession.
Additionally, Clarkson invited her children to join her onstage during a concert in 2023.
