Kids made fun of needy classmate for cheap Halloween costume until the principal taught them lesson…

His classmates taunt a poor little boy for the shoddy Halloween costume his father fashioned, leaving him in tears until the school administrator shows up wearing the same outfit.

Levi adored his modest residence and parents, Carol and Darren. They weren’t rich, but he admired their support for each other and him. But one afternoon, after getting home from school, Levi became irritated with his parents.

How could he not be upset? It was Halloween, trick-or-treating season, and his school had a fancy dress competition, but Levi’s parents couldn’t afford to buy him a new outfit.

Despite his friends dressing up as Superman, Batman, or one of the Avengers, Levi had to remain in his old suit!

“Honey, please understand,” Carol pleaded. “You know, Daddy and I are doing our best to rescue this house. We need to set aside money for the mortgage payment.” Do you not love me, Mom?” Levi inquired sadly. “I do not want the house. I want a new outfit. But you’re the one who loves the mansion, not me!

Carol sighed. “It is not like that, honey. Mommy and Daddy love you the most! “We adore you more than anything!”

“No!” he yelled through tears. “You’re lying!” You do not love me! “You love the house!”

Levi went to his room in tears and didn’t come out for supper. No parent likes to see their children sad; Carol did not. Did she have a choice, however? Not really.

They were in debt, and their modest store barely made ends meet. But seeing Levi sad concerned her, so she talked about it with Darren over dinner.

“He’s sad, hun,” she explained. Can we buy him a new costume? If not, I’ll get part-time work.

“Don’t stress yourself out, honey,” Darren said. “You have too much on your plate right now.” “I have an idea…”

Two days later, while Levi was eating dinner alone in his room, still upset with his parents over the costume, Darren walked in carrying a large bundle.

In this terrible world, we must advocate for one another and nurture the good.
“Can I come in, little boy?” he inquired at the door.

“No, you can’t,” Levi said. He did not even look up from his plate.

“What if I told you I got you a new costume?” Darren asked. Darren asked. “I thought you’d be excited.”

“Did you?” Levi grinned as he glanced at the gift in Darren’s hands. “Is this a new outfit? Really?”

“Yes, it is!” said Darren. “Now, may we have a small apology for yelling at Mama two days ago? She was quite worried about you.”

Levi was so pleased to see his new outfit that he sprinted from his bed and embraced Carol. “You and dad adore me! Not this house! I’m so sorry, Mom! Let’s see my new costume!” He grabbed her wrists and rushed so rapidly that she nearly tripped.

Then came the big moment. Levi burst into tears when he opened the package and discovered the outfit inside.

“Is that a robot?” he inquired. “Dad, mom, I love robots!”

“We know you do, little boy,” Carol said. Do you like it? “Daddy made it for you!”

“I love it, Mom and Dad!” Levi said, wiping away tears. “I adore it so much! And I am madly in love with you! “Thank you!”

Levi was elated. He adored the robot outfit Darren had built out of cardboard and duct tape. Yes, it was inexpensive, but it reflected his heart and his father’s efforts.

However, Levi’s attire caused him to shed tears on the day of the fancy dress event. He was depressed because his classmates were ridiculing him.

“Look, Levi is wearing a piece of colored cardboard!” a boy exclaimed, laughing. “He couldn’t even buy a new costume!”

“Don’t say that, Tony!” Levi objected, swallowing the tears in his eyes. “My father worked hard on this! He went through videos on his computer, and he did so much hard work!”

“Oh, did he?” Another child commented and shared a laugh with his friends. “Well, that outfit makes you look like a loser! I bet your dad’s a loser  too.”

The kids were so cruel to Levi that he broke down in tears. Upon hearing his name, Levi chose to cry backstage instead of appearing on stage.

Soon, the show was over, and everyone got to flaunt their costumes except Levi.

“I’m so sorry, dad.” He sniffed. “I did not participate in the competition!” I wasted your hard work! I’m sorry…”

Suddenly, Levi heard a loud gasp. He looked at the stage and couldn’t believe his eyes. Mr. Frederick, the school principal, was on stage, dressed as a robot! Levi wore a blue costume, while he wore a red one.

“Where is my fellow robot? Levi, where are you, child?” he called out from the stage.

“Mr. Frederick?” Levi cried out as he stepped onto the stage. “You have the same costume as me!”

“Call me, Captain Red!” he said stiffly. “Agent Blue, you’ve got a nice suit there!” Mine took so much time to make!”

“You look cool, Captain Red!” Levi smiled, having forgotten his worries. “My dad made me this suit! I just love it!”

“That’s wonderful, Agent Blue! I’ll ask your dad to make me a suit next time! I noticed that some kids didn’t find your costume appealing, so I thought, “Why not prove them wrong?” You know what? I love your outfit! You’re lucky! Your dad’s love for you is more important than just spending money on your children.

That day, Levi won the competition. His dress stood out from the bunch of Spidermans, Batmans, Avengers, and Disney princesses, and he had a huge smile on his face as he lifted the trophy with Captain Red!

At that point, the group of mean kids huddled around Levi and apologized. “WE ARE SORRY, LEVI!” they cried in unison. “Your costume was awesome!”

Levi was thrilled that the other kids loved his costume. He shared the big basket of candies he had won as a part of the prize with them and said, “It’s ok! I’m not sad anymore. Let’s not be mean to others, ok? Mommy and Daddy say we should love each other!”

“That’s absolutely right, Levi,” Mr. Frederick said gently. Kids, always remember to support each other and promote good in the world. Never put others down! That’s what Captain Red and Agent Blue also firmly believe in! With a wink, he continued, and all the children enthusiastically nodded as they gorged on the Halloween candy.

This cruel world requires us to support each other and do good. Thanks to Mr. Frederick, the kids realized they were wrong to mock Levi and learned the importance of love over money.
Spending love on children is more important than spending money. Levi’s parents couldn’t afford to buy him a new costume, but they loved him so much that they couldn’t bear the thought of him being unhappy. So they got him a lovely outfit that Darren created himself.
