Kim Kardashian has shared the ‘sad part about parenthood’, and it’s truly heartbreaking…

The SKIMS creator has four children with her ex, Kanye West, who now goes by the moniker ‘Ye’: two daughters, North West, 11, and Chicago, 6, and two males, Saint, 8, and five-year-old Psalm. Kardashian frequently shares a lot of her time with her children on social media, whether it’s highlighting their accomplishments, such as North’s Lion King performance at the Hollywood Bowl, or displaying their interests and abilities. However, she has been frank about how difficult motherhood can be. In an episode of The Kardashians, she discussed how difficult it had been to navigate life as a ‘single mom’.

She elaborated: “I think I’m still learning how to be a single parent, and I just did the Jay Shetty podcast where I spoke about parenting, and, I mean, I should be used to it now, but everyone had a lot to say.” The reality star stated that her challenges had ‘nothing to do with the amount of support I had’, adding, “It takes a village to raise kids, but at the end of the day, your kids only want you.” She recently shared a phrase that seems to encapsulate her thoughts and resonates with many mothers worldwide.

“The sad part about motherhood is that you’re raising the one person you can’t live without… to be able to live without you,” she posted on Instagram Stories. While she doesn’t specify the cause for the tweet, it comes two weeks after a story surfaced stating that West was frequently ‘not being near’ their children, with a source telling People that Kardashian is ‘very much a single parent’.
“Kanye is unfortunately not around too much,” the publication learned. She’s pretty much a single mother. “Even with assistance, balancing and coordinating everything remains a difficult task for her.” Kardashian and West married in 2014 after dating since 2012 and welcoming their oldest daughter in June 2013.

After the birth of their son, Saint, in 2015, the former couple welcomed Chicago and Psalm via surrogate. In 2021, Kardashian initiated her divorce proceedings, which culminated in 2022. According to court records, she and the rapper struck an agreement in their divorce proceedings and will share joint custody of their four children, reports The Guardian. According to the deal, Ye will also pay his ex-wife $200,000 per month in child support, as well as 50 percent of the children’s educational and security expenditures. Following their divorce, Kardashian enjoyed a romantic relationship with comedian Pete Davidson before they split up, while West married Bianca Censori.
