Kristi Noem has responded to South Park’s m*ckery of her in recent episode

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was not pleased with her portrayal in the most recent episode of South Park.

In the second episode of their much-anticipated 27th season, which premiered on Wednesday, an animated version of Noem leads a group of fresh ICE recruits, including South Park Elementary counselor Mr. Mackey.

The tactical squad crashes a performance of “Dora the Explorer Live!” with the instructions to “take these bad hombres down.” Then, recalling that there are “many Latinos in heaven,” Noem, Mackey, and ICE also launch a raid there.

“Remember, only detain the brown ones,” Noem orders as angels scurry to avoid arrest. “If it’s brown, it goes down!”

The show also regularly references the former South Dakota governor’s controversial story about shooting her pet.

Noem writes about personally killing a “less than worthless” hunting dog in her 2024 memoir, No Going Back, and she shoots many dogs throughout the episode, including a therapy dog and Superman’s pet, Krypto.

But it appears that Noem was most upset by the episode’s ridicule of her freshly updated facial features, which had to be restored by a glam squad many times throughout the performance because they slipped off her face.

“It never ends, but it’s so lazy to constantly make fun of women for how they look,” Noem, 53, said on Glenn Beck’s show Thursday. “Liberals and radicals are always the ones who do that. If they wanted to critique my work, they could, but plainly they can’t, so they simply choose something small.”

She did acknowledge, however, that she did not watch the show since she was busy “going over budget numbers and stuff.”

Despite the show’s obvious mockery, some of Trump’s MAGA supporters have taken pride in their portrayals in South Park this season.

Vice President J.D. Vance utilized X to post a screenshot of his South Park persona, concluding, “Well, I’ve finally achieved my goal.” Charlie Kirk, a right-wing media figure who was also mocked in the episode, updated his profile photo to the show’s representation of Cartman as his “master debater” counterpart. The official ICE account also shared an image of the episode’s fake ICE recruits, along with a sign-up link.

South Park retweeted the ICE callout, commenting, “Wait, so we ARE relevant? #eatabagofdicks.” This was a reference to the reaction from the Trump White House to the explosive season 27 premiere, in which they stated that the show “hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention.”

“The Left’s hypocrisy truly has no end—for years they have come after South Park for what they labeled as ‘offensive’ content, but suddenly they are praising the show,” White House spokesman Taylor Rogers previously said in a statement. “Just like the creators of South Park, the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows.”
