Loren Allred sings an outstanding worship rendition of Lauren Daigle’s ‘You Say’ on Britain’s Got Talent’s semi-finals.
Lauren Daigle, a Grammy-winning Christian musician, composed and sang ‘You Say,’ which is about discovering our identity in Christ and not conforming to the pattern of this world.
Lauren Daigle explained the premise behind the song, stating, “I believe that many of us construct these complexes based on insecurity, fear, rejection, and lies that we must continually battle. And thus this music served as a reminder of my individuality. It was a reminder that when I’m weak, He’s strong—so how can I adapt that and apply it to my daily life?”

Lauren Daigle went on to remark, “When I feel inadequate, it seems like God just steps in and overcomes my shortcomings. Every day, I’d come up on stage and tell myself, “No, this is the truth, this is the truth, this is the truth.” Avoid becoming bogged down in confusion. Don’t become buried in irresponsibility. Just keep the track steady.”
Loren Allred puts her unique take on this song and delivers an outstanding performance that astounds the judges and the crowd.
She performs the song with passion and heart, transforming it into her own. It’s no surprise that she received a standing ovation from the judges and crowd.
Judge Amanda praises her, “You knocked it out of the park again,” after giving Loren the golden buzzer at her first audition. She goes on: “What was beautiful was the song, the lyrics, the breath, the control—absolutely everything about it was astonishing.”
Judge David Walliams adds, “You are an incredible artist with an incredible voice, and we could be looking at the winner of Britain’s Got Talent,” says David.
