Madonna has spilled the tea on previous relationship as she ‘publicly named and shamed’ her former lover

The 65-year-old is currently on her global Celebration tour, with her recent stop being in Atlanta.

This leg of the tour has been quite eventful, with the singer making headlines for calling out a fan in a wheelchair for not standing up.

During her latest performance, Madonna entertained the audience by revealing a personal anecdote from the recording of her 1994 album, Bedtime Stories.

She confessed to being infatuated with a music producer during that time, stating: “I was madly in love with him and he treated me poorly. I’m just saying, you did, you mistreated me, bro. It’s okay, I understand. You were just a boy. But I hope you’ve grown up by now.”

Although Madonna didn’t disclose the producer’s name at first, she eventually revealed it: “I am publicly shaming you. Did I say your name yet? His name is Dallas Austin.”

At the time of the album’s production, Madonna was 35 years old, while Austin was only 23.

Their collaboration resulted in several tracks such as ‘Secret’, ‘Don’t Stop’, ‘Survival’, and ‘Sanctuary’.

Madonna reminisced about her deep affection for the producer, sharing that she even resorted to unconventional methods to win his heart: “I was so in love with him that I had this house in Miami and I studied Santeria, but none of them worked. Oh well, your loss.”

Despite the romantic ups and downs, Madonna expressed fond memories of working on the album, praising the experience of writing songs with talented musicians.

Regarding Madonna’s recent comments, UNILAD has reached out to Dallas Austin’s representatives for a response.

These revelations come just a year after Madonna’s health scare. In June of last year, she was hospitalized due to a severe bacterial infection, which led to a brief stay in the ICU. However, she has since made a full recovery.
