Madonna’s last appearance during Rare New York Fashion Week concerned many people

Madonna made a rare visit at New York Fashion Week, capturing everyone’s attention.

On Tuesday, September 10, the “Material Girl” singer, 66, visited the Luar fashion show at the famed Rockefeller Plaza wearing daring shoes that led her to fall on her way to the front row.

A video on X (previously known as Twitter) shows the Grammy winner casually making her way to her designated seat, only to falter in her thigh-high leather boots. The audience fell silent for a few seconds as Madonna recovered from the event, relying on a man, possibly a security officer, for support.

Although her heels may have posed some issues, Madonna did have some help from her coat, which, in addition to huge shoulder pads, included a long train that she gladly clutched as she went across the stadium.

Her bold style also included other accessories, such as her jewelry and the two pairs of sunglasses she layered for the evening occasion.

Madonna was not the only member of her family to visit the Big Apple for the trendy celebrations. Her children, daughter Lourdes Leon, 27, and son David Banda, 18, also made the rounds.

Leon, a model and Fashion Week regular, attended the Willy Chavarria show with her father, Carlos Leon (a rare public appearance for the father-daughter combination) before attending The Cut and Old Navy’s ’90s-themed party in a sporty tracksuit.

Banda also made his New York Fashion Week debut this weekend, walking in Off-White’s spring 2025 show in a sleeveless checkered top that showed off his biceps, black leggings, and shoes.

Madonna earlier told Jimmy Fallon on an August 2022 episode of The Tonight Show that Banda, like her, enjoys fashion. That year, Madonna notably pictured him with his mother, donning a replica of the Adidas outfit she wore in 1993.

“He can wear any outfit and look as swag as you know what,” Madonna said. “It’s quite bothersome. He wears my clothing and looks good in it.” “He’s capable of donning a dress.”
