Man took his mom to nursing home and paid her visits on regular basis. He received call one day because his mother was not feeling well. Then, with tears in his eyes, the son asked her what he could do for her…

Do we ever stop to consider the adage “What goes around, comes around?” We frequently behave without fully understanding the consequences for others. Fortunately, life finds a way to remind us that we need to be a little more thoughtful.

After his father died, one man felt he couldn’t take care of his mother any more, so he moved her to a nursing facility. She was unhappy there, and he only visited on occasion.

One day, he received a call informing him that his mother’s health was deteriorating. She did not feel anything. In reality, it appeared like she was approaching the end of her life.

The son was prompt to appear at the nursing home. He went directly to his mother’s room and asked if he could do anything for her.

The mother stared directly into his eyes and stated that she had a few requests. Hearing that, he expressed his willingness to grant her ultimate wish.

The mother then mentioned that she wanted the fans replaced since they did not operate correctly and caused her to suffocate at times. “Could you also change the refrigerator? “There were days when I fell asleep hungry because the food had expired,” she explained.

The son was astonished. He believed that his mother was unaware that she was dying. He then questioned her about why she hadn’t told him about it before. Now it was too late.

The mother gazed into his eyes and whispered, “I know I shall die, but I think of you when your children won’t want you close to them… They will bring you here. You’ll discover better circumstances. What you contribute is what you receive.” Do not forget that.”

These comments shattered the son’s heart into millions of pieces. He realized he had made a mistake when he left his mother at the nursing home against her wishes.

We should never forget that it is our job to ensure that our parents enjoy their golden years.
