Man with big heart pays for stranger’s groceries after hearing the next…

Bear Taliferro Jr. was thankful to have overheard a mother in need while shopping at Walmart.

“Last night, I left after pulling two 14-hour shifts,” Bear stated in an online posting. “I stopped by the grocery store to get some dinner ingredients, and as I was checking out, a woman in the next checkout line began crying.”

He overheard a small girl asking her mother what was wrong, and when he turned to check what was going on, he noticed the woman’s tears as she answered her young daughter.

“When her daughter asked what was wrong, she replied, ‘We can’t afford to eat tonight.'”

Another individual overheard the small girl and approached them, handing them a few dollars. Bear then approached them and instructed them to go pick whatever goods they desired and that he would pay for them.

“A woman behind her gave her a couple of dollars, and she used it to buy her daughter a Kids Cuisine TV dinner.” I told her to take anything she wanted and I’d pay for it.”

Bear stated that he never traveled to this specific store and that being able to assist this lady and her daughter in their hour of need seemed like divine intervention.

“I hardly ever go to this Walmart. “All I’m saying is that God places you where he needs you to be when he needs you to be there.”

Bear’s goodwill toward the young mother and daughter has been praised by thousands of people online.

“It’s incredibly considerate. I was in a similar position when I didn’t have the correct date WIC checks to receive my baby’s formula, so I was going to leave it and come back the next day with the correct date WIC checks, when the lady behind me chose to pay for all of the cans of baby milk I had at the register. I inquired for her phone number and address so I could return her money, and she told me not to worry; it was a gift. This happened ten years ago; therefore, I always strive to be a decent person to others when I can,” Kelly D. said.

“That’s my little brother doing what mom told us to do when women and children are in need; we assist them with whatever they require. Last night, God put you in the appropriate spot. Thank you for providing a mom and her children with the food they require to avoid going hungry. “God has you covered,” wrote Joshua C.

“My wife and I were at Winn Dixie about a month ago, and a woman in front of us didn’t have enough money for sandwich meat and mustard, so my wife said, “Hey, I got it, put it on our tab,” and I was surprised when this woman just broke down, I mean weeping like crazy! I’m not sure what her tale was, but I could tell she was in a horrible place! You never know; the little thing might mean everything to someone else! Gordon W. concurred.

“This happened to me approximately 11 years ago as well. My son was a newborn, and I was expecting my daughter. One week, we were running low on funds. When I went to pay for my lunch with quarters, the woman who answered the phone took out her credit card and purchased our food for me. I couldn’t hold back my tears. Now I assist wherever possible, particularly at the grocery store. It is not our duty to pass judgment on another person’s suffering; do unto others,” stated Kelli D.
